One of the problems with deciding that your political enemies are literally the Devil, or demonic tools of his, is that there is no place higher to go. When you’ve convinced thousands of people that they’re to participate in “strategic spiritual warfare”, then hold rally after rally using increasingly violent battle rhetoric with more and more overtly aggressive talk of destroying the demonic forces in Congress and the rest of government, all the while speaking of how “we must take dominion over the highest positions” on the “mountain of politics”, it leaves you open to close examination once people form a violent insurgence and forcefully enter the Capitol building.
And yet the January 6th committee conducted no such examination in the wake of events, even after being provided with the evidence that people within the Christian Nationalist movement generally, and the New Apostolic Reformation specifically, were whipping crowds into frenzies at “Jericho Marches” and appearances in megachurches radicalizing congregations in the weeks after the election. Spreading the big lie of election theft and blaming people of being in league with the ultimate supernatural forces in their religion...conflating the unsubstantiated election fraud accusations with the destruction of a Christian Nation which never actually existed. These events were all live streamed and subsequently watched by millions of people.
They specifically targeted contested states where Trump’s legal teams were filing lawsuits, all of which failed one after the other, to overturn the election results. Eventually all these states would certify the electors for the electoral college. All of the fervor and religious optimism that these events brought across the country had failed to bring about divine intervention to overturn the democratic election of Joe Biden. Then on December 19th Trump sent out the message that there was to be a protest rally in Washington D.C. on January 6th, “Be there, will be wild” he says.
Eight days later, on the 27th, the NAR prophet who had been the driving force behind all of the previous post election events, Dutch Sheets, organizes a conference call with several high ranking prophets of the NAR who decide to put out the call to 20 NAR prophets and apostles to join them in Washington the next day, and 15 of them drop everything and come from all over the country to meet up in D.C.. They all book rooms at the Willard Hotel where Steve Bannon, Roger Stone, John Eastman and Rudy Giuliani had set up “War Rooms” for plotting how to subvert the election process. (As a side note, on the Alex Jones show on May 8th 2024, after Alex told Roger Stone about a dream he repeatedly had of someone planting a bomb on Trump’s plane, Roger mentions, “...it’s amazing how many pastors and other Christian prophets contact me, knowing that I’m friends with the president...”. How often do you hear mainstream Christians talk about getting calls from “Christian prophets”, and are these calls coming from folks he met at the Willard Hotel?) On such seemingly short notice this group not only assembled at that specific hotel, they didn’t just plan to tour D.C. on the 29th to pray at specific locations around the mall in Washington, but amazingly they arranged to pray at the White House where they were granted a meeting with high ranking Trump officials in the Eisenhower Executive Office building, a two hour meeting which is to this day shrouded in secrecy a mere eight days before Trump’s rally

.
These are people who openly advocate for the removal of the Johnson Amendment, who publicly profess that there is no separation of church and state and see it as a mandate from God that they colonize all of the “Seven Mountains” of society, including the government. No matter if you believe that people in the Trump administration agree with this, or think that they see the NAR as useful idiots which they could employ for their agenda, this explains many things about the events on January 6th. It certainly explains the massive crowd at the Capitol, the huge number of “Appeal to Heaven” flags, the tremendous population of prayer groups, worship singers and others which provided cover for organizations like the Oath Keepers to infiltrate the building while violent attacks against police and other officials took place.
The biggest concern should be about the transactional nature of relationships Trump forges. He recently promised a group of oil billionaires that if elected he would roll back environmental regulations and renewable energy subsidies created by the current administration, then asked why these ultra wealthy individuals aren’t raising a billion dollars for his campaign. If asked I’m sure he would deny this being Quid Pro Quo, but anybody with eyes can see what it is, he’s selling influence on the open market. What are the Christian Nationalists buying? What did he promise the NAR leaders in closed door meetings at the White House? He’s certainly providing dog whistles to them every time he claims that “2024 is going to be the “Final Battle” “ at nearly every one of his rallies. Because when you believe that your political enemies are literally the Devil, or demonic tools of his, you must then be living in the End Times on the way to the Final Battle. And if this is the final battle, whatever you do to God’s enemies is fair game…
MAGA is turning into an Apocalypse cult, militia groups and religious radicals are watching and people like Alex Jones are on the air saying that their enemies are going to start violent “False Flag” events, and in doing so they are providing cover for whatever terror far right extremists might unleash on us...it’s another election year in post millennial America.
